The Role:
We are looking for someone with a proven track record of developing and delivering exceptional sales coaching and training programmes using a range of resources and coaching techniques.
This role is about getting the best out of our people, to deliver or exceed sales targets. You will be responsible for delivering coaching on a one to one basis and at team level. You do not believe in a ‘one size fits all approach’, delivering a tailored coaching style to unlock individual potential.
You will work closely with the Sales Team Leader to deliver key business objectives across the sales team, reporting into the Head of Operations.
You are a strong communicator with exceptional coaching and people skills, passionate about driving a successful sales culture. You will be highly organised, tracking performance based on return on investment (ROI) and supporting the performance management process where appropriate.
You will have extensive sales experience and a strong understanding of coaching methodologies. You will lead and deliver new starter training programmes in line with growth, and you will have the opportunity to develop our new starter training programme.
The main responsibilities will require you to (but not be limited to):
- Work closely with the Sales Team Leader, and reporting directly into the Head of Operations
- Work closely with the Sales Team Leader to assess individuals who require additional support and coaching
- Coach individuals to ensure that targets are met or exceeded each month
- Act as a role model to the sales team
- Evaluate employees' performance and implementation of coaching after each session
- Report on coaching findings and tracking performance trends
- Analyse data to plan and optimise performance with individuals
- Plan and demonstrate various coaching solutions via needs analysis based on individuals
- Deliver sessions for existing and new products
- Create and deliver new starter training, implementing new ways of training and refining sales onboarding process
- Deliver daily, weekly and monthly performance reports (in conjunction with business analyst)
- Deliver team coaching workshops, meetings and sales exercises
- Support a strong sales culture, executing a variety of coaching methodologies
- Challenge normality by trialling new ways of working
- Drive and encouraging the company values throughout the team, always leading by example
- Collect, organise, and analyse coaching data to generate insights and track KPIs
- Continuously identify areas for process improvement and drive enhancements
- Work with the Sales Team Leader to support recruitment for the Sales team
